Shiromi joined GV Health in February 2017. She has masters degree in psychiatry from Melbourne University and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
Shiromi is responsible for providing medical leadership in the inpatient psychiatry unit, Wanyarra. She is also the lead consultant psychiatrist in the still developing state-wide suicide prevention service, HOPE (Hospital Outreach Post Suicidal Engagement Program).
Shiromi’s professional interests include psychotherapy, holistic patient care and teaching junior medical staff.
