Community Advisory Committee & Consumer Partners

Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is made up of twelve community members, along with representatives from the GV Health staff and Board, and is an official GV Health advisory committee reporting to the GV Health Board.

CAC members provide a vital community and consumer voice to the GV Health Board, to help improve health and wellbeing outcomes and experiences for people in the GV Health catchment area.

Members are appointed on a voluntary basis for a term of three years, CAC meetings are held bi-monthly, with a total of six meetings each year.

Consumer Partners are involved in:

  • Participating in forums or focus groups
  • Reviewing and advising on information designed for consumers (electronic and printed)
