Prasoon joined GV Health in February 2018 as a paediatric registrar. He completed training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi and studied paediatrics at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh.
Prasoon undertook the child health program at Sydney Medical School in 2018 and received a highly commended award. He received a FRACP Degree in February 2022. Prasoon has completed a graduated certificate in allergic diseases and a Master of Medicine in Allergic Diseases from Western Sydney University. He has been awarded a place on the 2021 dean’s merit list for Master of Medicine (Allergic Disease) at Western Sydney University.
Prasoon is a full-time Paediatrician and responsible for inpatient and outpatient paediatric services at GV Health. His portfolio includes local and regional perinatal morbidity and mortality meetings.
Prasoon’s professional interests include paediatric allergy, immunology, and rheumatology in addition to general paediatrics. He is an associate member of ASCIA and full-time member of Paediatric Rheumatology Society of India.
In addition to his role at GV Health, Prasoon is an honorary consultant paediatrician of the Children’s Cancer Centre at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. He is also a clinical tutor at University of Melbourne ‘s Shepparton campus.
