Paediatric outpatient clinics are run weekdays in the consulting rooms at our Graham Street campus.

Children are seen by paediatricians, paediatric registrars or junior medical officers, a paediatric clinical nurse specialist or a relevant specialist. GV Health offers a shared care oncology clinic run in collaboration with the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. A medical practitioner from the Royal Children’s Hospital visits to offer outpatient services to children and adolescents from the Greater Shepparton region receiving oncology and haematology treatment, and care is shared between the Royal Children’s Hospital and GV Health. We also have other visiting paediatric specialists that attend on a monthly basis including a paediatric general surgeon, paediatric cardiologist, and genetic and allergy specialists. In partnership with the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service and the Integrated Service Access Unit, children accessing the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service can attend clinics that are held monthly. A referral from a general practitioner (GP) is required to access GV Health’s outpatient paediatric services. Referrals may also be made following an emergency or inpatient stay. One we receive your referral, you will be contacted to arrange an appointment. For rescheduling or cancellation of appointments, please call (03) 5831 0100. Telehealth consultations are also available if required.
