GV Health’s Continence Clinic provides diagnosis, advice and management strategies for people experiencing bladder or bowel problems, pelvic pain or requiring pre or post-operative support.

The Continence Clinic is a multidisciplinary service that aims to improve and maintain a person’s functional capacity. The clinic provides assessment and prescription for appropriate continence products, as well as current information and education for clients and their carers.

Who is GV Health’s Continence Clinic available to?

GV Health’s Continence Clinic is available to people from the age of 16 years in the community, via referral.

How do I access GV Health’s Continence Clinic?

Access to the Continence Clinic is via referral only. To arrange a referral, please speak to your General Practitioner (GP) or treating team. Referrals are accepted via the Service Access Unit central intake. For more information, call 1800 222 582.
