Goulburn Valley Centre Against Sexual Assault (GVCASA) provides a range of services for victims of sexual assault and their families. The services we provide are free and no referral is required, simply phone (03) 5858 9300.
Education and Training
GVCASA is available to provide education and training to professional groups and organisations on a range of matters relating to sexual assault.
This can include:
- Providing an enhanced understanding of sexual assault
- The role of GVCASA in supporting victim/survivors
- Sexual assault and the legal system
- Structural and social conditions that predispose communities to sexual assault and other violent crimes
- Strategies for the prevention of sexual assault
- Professional interventions
Training packages have been developed to meet the range of needs of professional groups.

Sexual Assault Crisis Line – free call 1800 112 343
This line is staffed by counsellors specifically trained to deal with the issue of sexual assault and its’ consequences 24 hours a day. The Crisis Line service provides support to victim/survivors and their non-offending family members who are in crisis or are experiencing difficulty.
