About the team

At GV Health, we foster a supportive team environment for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at all levels of experience, with a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will have opportunities to develop your clinical skills, as well as gain experience in quality improvement and research, ensuring a well-rounded and rewarding career.

Our areas of Pharmacists' practice

Grade 1 and 2 Clinical Ward Pharmacists at GV Health rotate through acute wards and participate in Antimicrobial Stewardship rounds, ensuring comprehensive patient care and optimised medication management.

Pharmacists at GV Health play a vital role in coordinating care for clozapine patients (contact Emily Lau for more information) and delivering outreach services through the Ambulatory Aged Care Program. This includes supporting clients in the Transition Care Program, Restorative Care, and GEM in the Home.

A dedicated Mental Health Pharmacist at GV Health provides specialised services to the acute inpatient unit, while a Clozapine Pharmacist supports patients through Community Mental Health services.

GV Health pharmacists provide comprehensive services to several subacute hospitals, including those located in Seymour, Tatura, Euroa, and Rushworth.

The pharmacist’s role on the paediatric ward is currently being developed, offering an exciting opportunity for growth and expansion in this specialised area.
