Waranga Health is an accredited residential aged care facility. It is located in the retail precinct of Rushworth, with easy access to shopping, banking, cafes, services and hairdressers.

A combination of private and communal lifestyle options provides freedom for residents to exercise their independence, while also enjoying support and social interaction. 

The facility features spacious, homelike dining and lounge areas and a secure garden area for residents, families and visitors to enjoy.  Ther are 36 single rooms with ensuites available.

Waranga Health residents receive 24 hour support from a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes local GPs, allied health professionals, nurses and personal care assistants. All staff members are committed to extending the highest standards of care and consideration to residents.

Waranga Health adheres to the Charter of Aged Care Rights. This is a commitment by providers to uphold the quality standards of care to all Aged Care consumers.

The Lifestyle Coordinator at Parkvilla assists residents to enjoy a wide range of individual and group activities. Residents are supported to engage with family, friends and the wider community whenever possible.

How do I apply to become a resident?

Eligibility for a place at Waranga Health is determined by the Aged Care Assessment Service. Clients can refer themselves to the Aged Care Assessment Service or be referred by a family member, carer, General Practitioner (GP) or health professional, by contacting My Aged Care.
