Dr Humsha Naidoo

Dr Humsha Naidoo commenced in the role as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in February 2025.

Prior to commencing with GV Health, Dr Naidoo was Deputy CMO at Eastern Health. Dr Naidoo has previously held positions including CMO at Northern Health, CMO at La Trobe Regional Hospital, Director of Medical Services (DMS) at Gosford Hospital Central Coast Local Health District and CMO & Executive Director Clinical Support Services at Bendigo Health, as well as other senior management roles in large tertiary hospitals in Victoria and Queensland.

Dr Naidoo completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) in 2004 and has extensive experience in strategic health service management with
a particular interest in clinical governance, education, research and workforce planning. Dr Naidoo has also completed the Juris Doctor with distinction and is well versed in medicolegal issues, contract issues and risk management.
