Cath is the CEO of Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH), a role she has held since 2019. She leads a small yet high-performing, creative team that develops and delivers innovative workforce development programs to allied health professionals and service providers across rural and remote Australia. Drawing on more than thirty years’ experience in diverse roles as a health professional, business owner, executive and company director, and utilising her background as a physiotherapist, Cath connects people across public and private domains and across organisations, enabling the creation of award-winning programs that have improved access to high quality health care for rural and remote Australians.
Cath holds a Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management), is a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program with Women and Leadership Australia, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Cath has held leadership and management positions in state and Commonwealth government and with a remote Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation and served six years on the Board of a rurally-based Primary Health Network.
