Robyn Hucker
Robyn Hucker didn’t plan to become a manager, she set out to make it easier for young people to get help, right now.
A social worker by training, Robyn joined GV Health in 2009, working across early-intervention, perinatal and child mental health before stepping into leadership during COVID.
“Mental health isn’t selective,” she said.
“It touches everyone.
“Our job is to make support simple, respectful and close at hand.”
Now manager of headspace Shepparton, Robyn leads a service designed as a front door for 12–25 year olds.
No fees, no GP plan, just be heard.
“We don’t start with criteria, we start with you,” she said.
Her team delivers timely, practical help through single-session care, telehealth and outreach.
“Because young people aren’t just our future, they’re our now,” Robyn said, referencing headspace CEO Jason Trethowan.
“That’s the work.
“That’s why I’m here.”
