The Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla campus offers sub-acute care, residential aged care and pathology services.
Set among beautiful gardens, the Tatura Hospital and Parkvilla campus is located near the retail precinct of Tatura, with easy access to shopping, cafes, hair dressers and other services.
The experienced team at Parkvilla provides patients and residents with 24-hour support, 365 days a year. Multidisciplinary care is provided by local GP’s, registered nurses, enrolled nurses, allied health professionals and a dedicated support team.
The reception desk is staffed Monday – Friday, 3.30am – 4-30pm (except public holidays).
Visiting Hours
Visiting Hours are 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week. Visits outside of these times are by arrangement only.
Please be mindful that clinical care requirements or specific patient/resident requests may alter or restrict the available visiting hours.
Parking
Free Parking is available at the rear of the campus or off-street. Local council restrictions apply.
Pathology Services
Tatura Hospital’s pathology service operates Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8.30am-11.30am (except public holidays).
The service operates from Hodson House, at the rear of the campus.
All patients are bulk billed for Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) tests, with a valid Medicare card.
Tatura Hospital Sub-Acute Care
Tatura Hospital is an accredited hospital with a 5-star rating from the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. The hospital offers eight beds for patients with a variety of medical conditions and care requirements. Tatura Hospital also specialises in the provision of palliative care and voluntary assisted dying services.
Parkvilla Aged Care
Parkvilla is an accredited residential aged care facility with a 4-star rating from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
A combination of private and communal lifestyle options are available, providing freedom for residents to exercise their independence, while also enjoying support and social interactions.
The facility offers home-like dining and lounge areas with beautiful garden settings. Accommodations include several single rooms, each with an ensuite, and one shared double room (suited for partners). In total there are 13 residential aged care beds and 2 transitional care beds.
The Lifestyle Coordinator at Parkvilla assists residents to enjoy a wide range of individual and group activities. Residents are supported to engage with family, friends and the wider community whenever possible.
Parkvilla adheres to the Charter of Aged Care Rights. This is a commitment by providers to uphold the new Strengthened Aged Care Standards of care for all of our consumers.
How do I apply to become a resident?
Eligibility for a place at Parkvilla is determined by the Aged Care Assessment Service. Clients can refer themselves to this service or be referred by a family member, carer, GP or health professional, by contacting My Aged Care. Pets
We encourage pets visiting our patients and residents. All pet visits must be approved by management in accordance with organisational procedures. Please speak to the care team for more information.
