Andrew Freeman commenced as the Executive Director of the Hume Local Health Service Network in July 2025. The Hume Local Health Service Network was established on 1 July 2025 and it brings together the twelve public health service providers from across the Hume to work collaboratively to improve the effectiveness of the Hume Network service system by focusing on service access, safety, quality and coordination. The Hume Network is a critical mechanism for the key health systems and providers across the Hume Network to share their expertise and achieve scale and coordination of effort towards agreed common goals. 

Mr Freeman has worked in the Victorian Public Health system for over 30 years and is a strong advocate for Rural and Regional Health. Mr Freeman has held a number of executive roles over the past twenty years and prior to commencing at GV Health, was the Chief Executive of East Grampians Health Service.
