Wearing Face Masks at GV Health

Staff, patients, clients, residents, consumers and visitors to GV Health are required to wear face masks as a precaution to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Patients/clients/residents/consumers are to wear face masks in public facing areas at GV Health. Discretion will be applied in areas where patients/residents such as residential aged or ward areas where patients may be confused.

Masks in communal areas are to be worn, with the exception of dining areas where it is not possible to wear a face mask at all times.

All staff must wear disposable masks in public-facing areas particularly where adequate physical distancing of 1.5 metres is not possible.

This includes any role that is in contact with patients or visitors, for example reception staff, ward clerks in clinical units, health care workers providing services to patients/clients/residents/consumers, staff delivering meals, cleaners in clinical areas, staff transporting patients/clients/residents and Glasshouse Café staff.

Please remember to maintain physical distancing at all times and practice good hand hygiene.
