GV Health is proud to be smoke free
As a leading health service, GV Health wants patients, residents, visitors, volunteers and staff to enjoy a safe, healthy and comfortable environment. That’s why we are proud to be smoke free.
What is smoke free?
All GV Health sites are totally smoke free. This means that smoking is not permitted in any indoor or outdoor areas where our services are provided.
Patients who are smokers will be discouraged from doing so as part of their care while they are receiving in-patient, out-patient or home visiting services from GV Health, and will be offered information on quitting options.
Residential facilities operated by GV Health have specific procedures in place to ensure the needs of residents are accommodated.
What support is available?
A number of services and options are available to assist you to quit smoking.
