Expansion of GV Health COVID-19 vaccine program from Monday 3 May

GV Health wishes to announce that from Monday 3 May, all people aged 50 years and over are eligible to get the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine at GV Health vaccine hubs. Getting vaccinated helps protect us from getting sick from COVID-19 and protects those around us. The vaccines being used in Australia are effective at preventing serious illness and loss of life from COVID-19. The vaccines are safe and free for all in Australia.
Booking an appointment:
Everybody aged 50 years and over can book an appointment to receive the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccination by:
1️⃣ Calling the Victorian Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398. You will then need to select Option 1 – Option 1 – Option 1
2️⃣ Contacting one of your local COVID-19 vaccine sites:

When booking please be ready to provide the following information:
o Full name
o Date of birth
What to bring to your appointment:
A form of identification that shows your date of birth – ideally one with a photograph. If you have a Medicare card please bring this to your appointment, but you do not need to have a Medicare card in order to receive a vaccination. The appointment will take around 30 minutes, you must remain with us for observation for 15 minutes after you are vaccinated.
