Managing COVID-19 at Home

At the moment, it may be difficult to get a COVID-19 test.

If you cannot access a PCR or Rapid Antigen test, and you’re a household or household-like contact, or have symptoms, the most important thing you can do is to stay home and isolate.

You don’t need a COVID-19 test to do this.

Most people that contract COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and will be able to manage at home. It is very important to monitor symptoms when you or someone you care for gets COVID-19, particularly if you feel they are getting worse.

The Coronavirus Victoria website provides information on managing symptoms at home, and what you should do if your symptoms worsen.

Audio instructions on how to isolate in a range of languages are also available.
