Barry joined GV Health in February 2008 as Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining GV Health, Barry held various executive positions in South Australia and the Northern Territory. He was general manager of the SA Industrial Court / Commission and Workers Compensation Tribunal and, prior to that, Director of Corporate Services for the SA Ambulance Service.

He also served as the Director of Corporate Services for the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, based in Darwin.

Barry has been employed within the Department of Justice, both in the NT and SA.

He has held executive positions with Kodak, in the United States and Melbourne, and with CSR and Santos in mining and oil and gas.

Barry was educated in Adelaide and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
