GV Health Ethics & Research

The Goulburn Valley Health Ethics and Research acts as a committee of review for research conducted at Goulburn Valley Health. The Committee's primary role is to protect the welfare and rights of participants in research. As part of this it is the responsibility of the Ethics and Research Committee to review new research proposals, monitor existing research conducted at the Group and maintain a register of all research projects. The Committee operates in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans

The Committee will only accept applications for research projects on the National Ethics Application Form (NEAF). The NEAF Application Form can be accessed by clicking on the following link: https://www.ethicsform.org/au/SignIn.aspx  

The Committee meets on the last Wednesday of every second month, except for the December meeting which meets on the first Wednesday in the month. An original copy of the application plus 15 photocopies must be received two weeks prior to the meeting. No late applications will be considered.

  • Wednesday 28 April 2010
  • Wednesday 30 June 2010
  • Wednesday 25 August 2010
  • Wednesday 27 October 2010
  • Wednesday 1 December 2010
