Location: The dialysis unit is located within the Graham Street campus of Goulburn Valley Health between the Fairley Wing (A&E) and Elective Admissions.
About GV Health Dialysis:
The Shepparton dialysis unit accommodates 7 patients per session. We currently operate two sessions per day. We are a satellite unit of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne.
Holiday Dialysis:
Holiday dialysis enquiries need to be made to the Nurse Unit Manager, acceptance for holiday bookings is dependent upon availability. We recommend to book as early as possible. Confirmation often cannot be guaranteed until a week or two prior to the proposed dates.
Information required: Dialysis care plan & prescription, recent pathology results including MRSA/VRE swab results. Patients are required to bring their own Erythropoetin (Eprex/Aranesp/NeoRecormon).
Referral:Referral for a permanent dialysis at GV Health Dialysis unit is preferred to come via your existing dialysis unit/parent hospital. Holiday referrals may come from patients as well as dialysis unit staff.

There are several visiting Nephrologists that consult at the Goulburn Valley Health Consulting suites (SCS) Ph: 5832 2460 for bookings – GP referral is required for a specialist consultation.
