Euroa Health’s acute care services to be delivered by GV Health
The Victorian Government has approved a proposal for Euroa Health’s acute care services to be delivered by GV Health. The announcement was made Friday 15 March by Attorney-General and State Member for Northern Victoria, Jaclyn Symes MP, and follows the recent unanimous backing of the proposal by Euroa Health members.
The announcement marks the culmination of many months of detailed analysis alongside Euroa Health, and with the input of independent experts, to identify a solution that would best serve the local community for the long term.
From here, it’s all about progressing and finalising our implementation planning with the aim of transitioning Euroa Health’s hospital-based services to GV Health by 1 July. We will continue to work closely with Euroa Health over the coming months to deliver this.
